Going forward mixing Guilermo Carrasco´s new cd due this 2012

Happy with the release of the album Sinverguensuranzas from venezuelan gropu Los Sinverguenzas that I record at Tomas cardona studio and mix at my own place.

Tomorrow I´ll be at CoprBanca Hall with Comtemporary Jazz Band MALA JUNTA at the release of their first album E"El Dorado" which I had the pleasure to mix.

Today we started the drum sesion of the venezuelan progressive rock band BACKHAND (Pablo Mendoza- gtrs, Oscar Fanega-bass, Adrian van Woerkom-keys and Adolfo Herrera-drums) at Remoto studios under the producction of Jose Luis Pimentel.

Tonight a will be with Los Sinverguenzas at Colombia's Barranquilla and tomorow in Bogota for two concerts presenting material of the new cd.

In a new adventure I will be with Leo Blanco, today and tomorrow, recording a new project with only piano, at Cesar Rengifo Hall in Merida performing with a new instrument donated from the Japan embassy to the ULA.

Tonight I will be with Guillermo Carrasco at the Eurobuilding Hotel, tomorrow with Pablo Mendoza and Saturday with Pedro Castillo / Juan Angel Esquivel on the Guitar Festival at Corp Group Hall

This weekend will continue the venezuelan tour of venezuelan pianis resident at Boston, Leo Blanco and C4 Trio with uniques arrangements of tunes by each artist.

This saturday June 4th I will be with the venezuelan band Los Sinverguenzas and the Juvenile Sinphonic Orchestra Simon Bolivar at the Center of Social Action. Raimundo Pineda will be directing compositions by Angelvis Sanchez, Orlando Cardozo and Los Sinverguenzas.

Excellent concert we had last night with c4 Trio as part of the third Bienal of Guitars at Mejico Hall, Quito, Ecuador

On saturday May 7th, we started to record the new album by los Sinverguenzas on Tomas Cardona´s studio who allow me to bring my Nuendo and my Focusrite pre´s. It seems it´s going to be a fun time.

On sunday 25th I will be with C4 Trio at the Festival Palfoxiano in Puebla, Mexico.

It´s finally release (iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon) the album "Ahora o Nunca" by Guillermo Carrasco and Pedro Castillo that I coproduce with them and it has new versions of own material and others; recorded live, in studio or at distance. Also contains an original "Verso Duro". We did it in a green cover with 100% recycle material and vegetable ink.

Very please with the result of the C4 Trio tour at New York, Boston, Washington and Miami. 7 gigs in 11 days.

On October 31st I will be with venezuelan band "Los Sinverguenzas" 10 years of good music.

On October 30th I will be at CorpBanca Hall with Guillermo Carrasco and a new trio form by Gonzalo Teppa, Juan Angel Esquivel and Euro Zambrano

It is finish the Master of the album of Carrasco/Castillo by Jesus Jimenez completing a a 4 hand album which I hope you like. It will be call "ahora o nunca" (now or never)

I am mixing the album of the venezuelan Jazz Fusion band "Mala Junta" that was recorded at jazzmania Studio by Javier Casa y Alenjandro Diaz.Band members are Rodolfo Reyes, Gerardo Lopez, Giovanni Ramirez, Roldan Peña, Leonel Ruiz and Kiko Gonzalez

It´s almost done the mix stage of the album that I´m doing with Guillermo Carrasco y Pedro Castillo as a reprise of 2006 CD "Esto fue un placer"

On November 6th I'll be with El Cuarteto and Los Sinverguenzas at Corp Group Hall.

These days I´m mixing the second album of venezuelan musician/singer/composer Fernando Alarcon joint by excelent musicians going thru various latinamerican styles and it was recorded in a 5 year period in differents studios of Caracas.

In conjunction with ETCETERA Proctora Cinematografica I´m doing the 5.1 spanish mix of the NBC Series "The Philanthropist" which airs actually and will be soon seen on latin America.

Today I finish mixing in 5.1 the music ftha Aquiles Baez did for the Geyka Urdaneta´s movie "Cuidado con lo que sueñas"

On July 23rd & 24th I will be working with Guillermo Carrasco on the opening act for Pedro Aznar at Corp Group Hall.

Since today until july 5th I will be at Corp Group Hall in at the Beatles Tribute. Thi time it will be Quadraphonic adapting to the new Surround times.

On Saturday May 9th I will be with C4 Trio opening the concert for Jorge Drexler

On tuesday 15th I will be with Pedro Castillo previous to Roger Hodgson concert at Sambil. Will be triying a new Guitar setup.

To start the year I was editing a few things of the new C4 Trio album that I will begin to mix this week.

4 new cd´s appear this year 2008: Pedro Castillo "Tengo una idea", Maruja Muci "My Funny Valentine", Aditus "De Alcabala a Peligro" and David De los Reyes "Suites Barrocas".

On December 4th I was with C4 Trio on the Viii Mercado Cultural of Salvador de Bahia in Brasil at Castro Alves Theater and we share stage with Chico Pinheiro. We repeat the concert at Pelorinho twi days later.

This saturday November 29th, I will be with the band "Aditus" at the Aula Magna celebrating their 30th anniversary and the release of a new album "The Alcaba a Peligro".

This week the song "Si mis paredes hablaran" de Juan Miguel produced by Tumbao Records that I Mixed and Mastered, reach the Nº1 spot on the Record Report nation list as most air theme on the country.

On october 24th I´ll be with the bands Los Sinverguenzas and El Cuarteto, then on the 25th I´ll joined Guillermo Carrasco on a presentation named " iPop .... para rato (there´s pop for a while). Both gigs at Corp Group hall.

Tomorow Oct 16 I will be with Luz Marina at Corp Gropu and then I´ll be traveling with Aditus to Barquisimeto and Valencia

On September 6th and 7th I will be doing the monitors for th anniversary concert of Ensamble Gurrufio and Serenarta Guayanesa at Teresa Carreño with Javier Casas doing main.

On friday July 4th we will be celebrating 10th aniversary of Saxomania at Corp Group Hall

On june 13th I'll be at Coro city with Elisa Rego, Pedro Castillo and Guillermo Carrasco on a concert name "The 80's reunion" organized by Hugo Suarez

On April 28-29 I record the basis for the new upcoming CD by Maruja Muci on American Songbook repertoire with the participation of Alberto Lazo on piano, Carlos Rodriguez on acoustic bass and Miguel Hernandez on drums. On the 30th Benjamin Brea recorded the sax and flutes. This recording is being done at Jazzmania Studio at a resolution of 96 khz .

On May 5th will start the recording of the new Aditus album at Jazzmania Studio.

On April 3rd I recorded C4 Trio concert at Corp Banca with the intention of using the material in their new upcoming CD as a Video.

I will be with C4 Trio at Barquisimeto Jazz Festival on November 9th.

I started last week to mix some tunes of the new cd production of my long time friend Pedro Castillo which include recent songs and ones that had been archive for a few years.

This friday 5th, I will be at Corp Group with Elisa Rego and Colina in an unusual acoustic concert, where I will have the chance to try the audio equipment.

With joy we received the news that the Album that I mix last year of the Canadian band Zapato Negro has been nominee for the "Western Canadian Music Awards for Outstanding Jazz Recording of the year.

This July 5th continues Cheo Feliciano International Tour at Panama celebrating his 50th carrer anniversary joint by Saxomania Big Band and vibe's Alfredo Naranjo. The tour will continue through Peru, Colombia and Spain. I will be doing Main sound and Mario "Chile" Peralta Monitors.

Next June 28th I will be doing the sound for Pedro Castillo & Guillermo Carrasco at the Hard Rock Cafe in Caracas. They will be playing with Rodrigo Nuñez on drums, Rafael Greco on sax, flute and keys and Hildemaro Alvarez on keyboards.

Next June 20th I will be recording at Jazzmania Studio venezuelan pianist Guiomar Narvaez and the Orquesta Tipica Nacional as part of the repertoir of her new cd in which she plays with differents orchestras.

Yesterday I finished the surround mix of the Documental "Pablo, Angel or Demon" for it's presentations at the Monaco, Cannes and Palm Beach Movie Festivals on the following weeks. Jorge Granier directed and coproduce it with Miguel Sierralta and the music was in charge of Adrian van Woerkom.

From May 24 until May 27th I'll be doing the sound for the Beathle Tribute by venezuelan artists YORDANO, FRANK QUINTERO, GUILLERMO CARRASCO, ELISA REGO, PEDRO CASTILLO, LOS BEAT3, CARLOS MOREAN, SERGIO PEREZ, AGNI MOGOLLON, HORACIO BLANCO, LEONOR JOVE, PABLO DAGNINO, COLINA, ISAIAS URBINA, JORGE SPITERI, EVIO DI MARZO, MARUJA MUCI, LOS PARANOIAS, DINA, THE RUBBER BAND. On this occassion Vladimir Quintero will be in charge of the monitor mix

This sunday 25th I will be joining Jose Luis Pimentel "Cotufa" live on his radio program for "Ateneo FM 100.7" from 6pm to 7pm ET talking about my latest works and with a special interview with Andre Carrasquero from Vancouver about his latest CD "Zapato Negro"

This week I will mixing the album for the venezuelan band " Los Sinverguenzas" which was recorded by Juan Carlos Almao at Sincopa Studio

Yesterday finished the recordings for the Caracas Clarinet Cuartet album for Cacao Musica label with a special guest, drummer Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez who performed in 2 songs at Jazzmania studio.

On November 5th I was with venezuelan jazz pianist who lives in los Angeles, Otmaro Ruiz on a benefical concert for ANAPACE at Corp Gropu Hall join by Jimmy Branly on drums, Ben Wendel in saxes and Carlos Puerto Jr. on bass.

On October 27 & 28th, I did the sound for the concert of my good friends Pedro Castillo & Guillermo Carrasco at Corp Gropu Hall. Vladimir Quintero was recording the show for a cd release next year.

This week I'm mixing the first album of the canadian jazz band "Zapato Negro" for Cellar Live label, recorded in July at Vancouver. In this band plays venezuelan pianist Andres Carrasquero.

Next August 3rd I will be mastering with Jesus Jimenez the next venezuelan singer Esperanza Marquez cd that was recorded at Jazzmania Studio by Alejandro Diaz & Javier Casas under the production of Aquiles Baez and I mixed it at my studio.

Late January 2006 we resume the recording of Caracas Clarinet Quartet project with special guest appearances by Carlos Nene Quintero on cajon, Aquiles Baez on Venezuelan cuatro and Anat Cohen on soprano clarinet.
